Dorinda Samuels is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Brooklyn. She graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She also received a Master of Divinity degree at New York Theological Seminary. Ms. Samuels is a veteran Early Childhood teacher with over thirty years of experience in the New York City Board of Education. In addition, as an adjunct faculty member for the College of New Rochelle, she taught Experience and Learning Identity to freshman. This pedagogue has probably extended her expertise to other educators.

 

Ms. Samuels mentored teachers from many different countries to get them acclimated to the culture and to the teaching standards for the City of New York. As a workshop Clinician, she has a passion for teaching. She also led a team of teachers as an Educational Director for nine years. This innovative educator is CEO and founder of Miss Samuels Wonderful Literacy Phonics World.  Her business is city certified with the Minority Women’s Business Enterprise {MWBE}. This venture has taken her into many venues to promote literacy. Dorinda Samuels has devoted her life to passing on the power of knowledge. Her passion for teaching gives her great joy.
